Is there previous invisible text on ancient scrolls?
Yes, and now historians can see that invisible text.
Why would that be important today? Are there revelations?
Perhaps yes. It seems that some ancient scrolls had invisible text. Clearly undefined it is now an exciting discovery moving many historians to relook at ancient writings in a fresh new light.
Is there a new meaning to some of these documents? That seems to be the prevailing question. Can a previous writing underneath it all shed light to a different meaning to the existing scrolls.
Time will tell but in the meantime it is the stuff movies are made from. These are exciting times that will generate more multispectral imaging to better enhance these invisible texts that will surely lead to new discoveries. Perhaps new treasures.
