James McGrath Is Right in his "Learning to Scroll Again for the First Time"

Updated: Aug 4, 2019

Better digesting of text is so critical more than ever. In this digital age so much is misunderstood.

IF only one word at atime or perhaps a few words in this digital age were giving then maybe we could slow down and understand. We should not consider that every thought and phrase has double, triple meanings. They should mean what they say if we take the time to understand them.

I would like to try to get many more scrolls to read so that perhaps a better meaning could arise. Perhaps the church is missing that because we read to fast. Perhaps we read only images.

Are we daring to say we should go back to neanderthal cave dwelling pics and clips and dots and lines and circles. Heavens to Betsy no!

What I am saying is we should understand what was meant for the times. How was it taken? Why was it giving? When was it dished out?

Not everything was a prolific masterpiece but it was a purposeful language.

A language that many try tp emulate in todays smartphone texting craze. Is the love note of a caveman on a cavewall more than a text love note today? Its hard to say.

Technology today says we have a better understanding that is live which should express your first honest thoughts on a subject matter.

Archaeologists say No! The caveman expressed his feelings deeper. From the spirit. So then maybe that is what we are missing.behind today's texting and perhaps if we took the time to express the spirit of things then maybe we can scroll again for the first time.

His article gives us competence to scroll again.
